Wasn’t it just yesterday when the door to the little yellow school bus opened and took your toddler away for his or her first day of first grade? And now they are graduating from college! Where oh where did all that time go? For every parent and loved one who is getting set to send their grad out into the world, why not give them an energetic edge while giving them wings to fly? Here’s how:

RITUALS AND GIFTS FOR THE LUCKY GRADUATE:

  • It’s long been acknowledged that if you want to bring some angels and invisible guides out of campus housing and along for the ride of the new grad’s life, then that same student should find a statue on campus, and, then, at some time immediately prior to the graduation ceremony itself, should rub the nose (or some other part) of the same statue for fortune and luck in helping to make their dear dreams come true. This is also believed to bring along both their angelic guidance and luck along to the commencement and, then, to infinity and beyond!
  • Under their cap and gown the grad should wear certain and specific colors to attain certain and specific energetic advantages. Wearing white, for example, is said to signify respect for all the Arts, while gold recognizes the tremendous value and worth of the Sciences. Brown brings stability and grounding, qualities and characteristic that any new graduate can use in spades. Any use of all or any combo of these colors represents panoramic academic achievement. There is also a graduation fashion-nation that says those who are commencing should do so in flat shoes to symbolize their steady stepping into their next new life.
  • Lastly, place a globe of the world in the graduate’s room and position it in the ‘FAME’ area of same. If possible, this globe should be lit somehow. Some globes, like some graduates already come lit from within while others need a little more help. You can grab a small spotlight from any home improvement store and shine it at the globe in order to illuminate opportunities from every corner of the, well, globe, for the recent graduate!

These ages-old ideals more than meet any modern day dreams and, let’s face it, in today’s job market a little energetic advantage can go a really long way. As will your grad if you embrace this excellent Feng Shui advice!
